Purpose & Maturity

Lord, may I become all that You have created me to be.

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6

Ponder on that… How did it begin? What 'good work'? And can you sense its continuation and His daily presence?

Prayerfully considering these things is prayer. Christianity is not a one-off event , it's a journey. How's that journey going? What 'stepping stones' are needed to help you journey on into greater spiritual maturity. Do you know the plans that God has for you? Ask Him, and share your thoughts with other trusted Christian friends.

Lord, as the work of this week dawns, may I be willing to let You nurture my life – body, soul and spirit. Amen.
